Key features of the latest version of PoleStar include the ability to run the simulation in a 'Lean IT' mode, the inclusion of ITIL V3 Foundation blended courseware within the simulation software, and all-new customization capability for all metrics and measurement across all modalities of the simulation software.
The ability to run PoleStar in a 'Lean IT' mode has been developed by G2G3 in response to customer and market demands. In this current financial climate, many organizations are looking to apply Lean methodologies to their Service Management initiatives in order to accomplish more with less. Lean itself is a conceptual term used to characterize a holistic strategy based upon satisfying customers and meeting their value expectations by providing quality services and products in a timely manner using just the right amount of resources.
The PoleStar Lean simulation mode brings the Lean IT approach to life, practically demonstrating how Lean IT principles can quickly deliver results through understanding customer value and increasing performance through improved workflow, process performance and waste removal.
Another exciting new feature in this release of PoleStar is the ability to customize all process and maturity metrics within the simulation software itself. Running the simulation in each of its available modalities (ITSM/ITIL, ISO/IEC 20000 or Lean) will present a relevant set of standard metrics for each - however the ability has now been provided to entirely customize all metrics, thus allowing simulation facilitators to create bespoke success measurement mechanisms to meet the unique objectives of specific client simulation deliveries.
