G2G3, the leading provider of business simulations and serious games has today announced an exciting development around the itSMF priSM (professional recognition for it Service Management) program in that full day IT Service Management (ITSM) simulation workshops may now be used as a contributing certification for both entry to the priSM program and the priSM Continuing Professional Development program.
The itSMF priSM program is a comprehensive program for professional recognition and development in the IT Service Management industry. This is the first phase of an exciting initiative by itSMF International to promote a professional recognition and development scheme worldwide. The priSM program will provide its members with a framework and guidance for continuing professional growth while building upon its members existing training, certifications, education and experience.
Certified completion of a full day ITSM simulation workshop may now contribute towards the minimum entry level requirement for the priSM level of Associate in Service Management (ASM). In addition, certified completion of a full day ITSM simulation workshop will contribute six credits towards the required priSM ongoing Continual Personal Development (CPD) program.
G2G3’s ITSM simulations are an energetic and fun way to accelerate understanding, involvement, and acceptance of ITSM and ITIL best practices in any organization. Available in a variety of realistic, high technology scenarios, the simulations bring to life the behavioral and process issues faced by IT organizations. This unique experiential learning approach causes breakthrough understanding of ITSM and ITIL best practices and transforms learning into an engaging, fun, and highly memorable shared experience.
Mark Sutherland, CEO of G2G3 said: “I am delighted that simulation has been formally recognized by the itSMF priSM program as an effective ITSM certification offering positive learning outcomes. G2G3 pioneered the use of simulation within IT Service Management and thanks to these efforts, simulation continues to gain recognition as a powerful tool in terms of adding context and practical reinforcement to learning.”
Doug Tedder, Chair of the priSM Institute (itSMF USA) said: “We are pleased to announce the latest addition to the priSM program: the 1-day simulation. This activity is a wonderful learning tool in IT Service Management where the participant can actively interact with the scenarios, see the impact of their decisions and have fun! Utilize the activity to fulfill the entry certification requirement for the Associate credential or as a 6-credit CPD.”
G2G3 has worked with some of the most influential technology organizations in the world and has a strong and growing global partner network. Over one million people worldwide have participated in G2G3 IT Service Management simulations.
